"These landscapes are spiritual which renders universal feelings; this is the purer side of human nature that I have been trying to emulate in all of my works."  -Bobbie Koh

Artist Bio:

Subtle themes within spirituality are evident in Koh's growth as an artist.   Koh’s recent works reflect a  tranquil state of mind.  This tranquil state of mind is Koh’s quest through her depiction of magnificent landscapes.

Koh’s popularity resonates from the consistent one-man shows that have been held in the same gallery in New York City for the past ten years; she plans to continue this tradition for years to come.  But Koh has also achieved wide popularity internationally and nationally with prestigious shows in various cities throughout Korea, China, Canada, France, and the United States.  Though heralded by many and various professional art critics, Koh’s greatest critical acclaim comes from her audience, who proclaims that Koh’s art instills within them a sense of tranquility.

"...Koh's paintings have found their way into many prestigious public and private collections since the outset of her career in fine art...Bobbie Koh's style could be labeled neo-expressionistic, although it truly defies nomenclautre. It is uniquely descriptive and restrained, yet with a strength characterisitc of her subject... trees of many kinds, trees of many moods, trees with character and spiritual personality. Color is symbolic in her work..."
