Artist Bio:
Melanie works primarily with oils and often experiments with different surfaces, such as paper, plexi-glass, pvc and canvas. Working with her spirit and intuition as her guide,  her subject matter often comes in the form of landscape and figurative, where she creates a different perspective on these theme’s . In Melanie’s landscapes she works with oil glazes, built up with many layers to create luminous light, color and depth, reminiscent of romanticism. In her figurative works, Melanie likes to incorporate storytelling as a vehicle in which to create her characters, they are often linked with a spiritual world.

Melanie has been included in many group and solo exhibitions, her work has been collected by many private collectors in Canada, Guyana ,United States, Mexico, Shnghai and UK.
