Artist Bio:
Mike Bell has been inspired by thirty years living and working on the Northumberland coast and the wilds of Redesdal, near Scottish Borders. Fascinating by patterns of sand on beach, piles of seaweed/driftwood, order and chaos together. The images Mike creates use a wide range of materials: sand, soil, coal dust, driftwood are often embedded in the painting surface. His work has been exhibited in many galleries internationally.
